t-mode, my own syntax for notes and .txt files

So, I am reading about org-mode with morning coffee (yes, nerdy – high five!), and came across great walkthru's and intro's geared towards new org-mode users, and then I realize:

I like MY syntax better!

...which is what I have developed over years of typed note-taking. Some of these translate to handwritten things, too, because it is so easy to write/draw the syntax.

It's like this:

Separate relevant things in a large .txt document (three dashes):

---

Start a new section (capitalized letters, preceeded by three slashes):

///NEW SECTION

Start a new sub-section within a section (all-lowercase, preceeded with a single slash):

/new sub-section

Link to relevant document, website or reminder regarding a section (in parenthesis, directly under section “header”):

///NEW SECTION
(website.ext/important-info/)

Creating a list of relevant links/sites (title of entry, description in parenthesis, link underneath)

New site (this new site kicks ass) -
website.ext/new-site-link/

...and that's it. Not much to fuss with. Ever since reading about the beauty/simplicity of plaintext (.txt), it makes life much easier, and easy to work/deal with. Derek Sivers writes of plaintext which I wholeheartedly agree with, but the biggest benefit (besides usability) that I see is the security when used with e-mail. If I can urk some utility out of simplicity, I will do so :)
